What you get
EasyJet allows a free 45 × 36 × 20 cm small bag up to 15 kg. The paid large bag can be 56 × 45 × 25 cm, up to 15 kg, goes in the overhead locker and includes Speedy Boarding.
The surcharge varies
Large cabin bag pricing depends on flight, route, demand and booking time. EasyJet says adding it online is cheaper than arriving at the gate, where a high airport fee can apply.
A week does not automatically require the larger size
Five to seven days can still fit the small allowance if you limit footwear, repeat some clothing and avoid bulky equipment.
The real reasons to upgrade
Winter travel, laptop plus accessories, second shoes, business clothing or specialist gear are more compelling reasons than trip length alone.
