What the option actually adds
Ryanair states that Priority & 2 Cabin Bags includes the underseat bag plus a second 10 kg 55 × 40 × 20 cm cabin bag in the overhead locker and access to the priority boarding queue.
When it makes sense
If the free small bag forces you to leave behind a laptop, necessary footwear or clothing, paying for a second cabin bag can be more rational than buying things at destination or checking luggage.
When it makes less sense
For two or three days, if everything fits comfortably in 40 × 30 × 20, priority boarding alone adds little practical value. Since pricing varies, compare it with the Regular fare and other baggage options.
Compare the total before deciding
Compare three separate options: Basic with Priority added, Regular including a standard seat and Priority with two cabin bags, and a booking with checked baggage. Regular does not include checked baggage. Prices and available options depend on the flight.
Our rule
Buy Priority for the second cabin bag or because the Regular bundle becomes competitive, not simply to board a few minutes earlier.
